Food Social Media User Research

The project initially aimed to develop a delivery price comparison software but strategically pivoted to create DineOneOne, a personalized foodie app, following insightful research. A deep understanding of user preferences was achieved through 25+ interviews and 450+ surveys, guiding crucial design decisions. The platform underwent continuous refinement, with usability testing pivotal in integrating principles and feedback. The result is the live DineOneOne app on Google Play, shifting focus from a delivery community to a friend-centered food community. This transformation aims to boost user engagement, aligning more closely with users' needs.

Enhancing Career Confidence for Graduating Students through Virtual Reality Experiences

The project uses virtual reality to help graduating students overcome career choice challenges. Interviews and surveys with graduating students and collaboration with career centers inform the design to enhance students' confidence in making informed career decisions. Creating immersive VR simulations of various professions aims to reduce confusion, boost self-efficacy, and provide insights into real workplace scenarios.

A Redesign Journey for Enhanced NGO Donation Experience

This project focuses on redesigning the donation process for the Heart of Taiwan Animal Care Association (HOTAC) to improve usability and user experience. Through in-depth interviews, usability testing, and iterative redesign, the team addressed challenges in the current website, explicitly targeting the complexity of the donation process and organizational presentation. The redesign aimed to streamline the donation flow, highlight the organization's credibility and create an engaging website design. Two rounds of usability testing were conducted, significantly improving (SUS 30 to 85) the overall user satisfaction score and emphasizing the success of the redesign efforts.
